La "merde" theory

The older we are the more theories we have about life, love, problems and all that stuff. So, here is one of my theories...

The “merde” theory is a simple, very simple theory. When a new problem comes, it never comes alone. It’s like a series or a wave. I really like the concept of wave because there’s a bottom and a top. And once the wave has moved away, your life is back to normal.

But to decide if a theory is right or not, it’s important to provide examples. So let’s surf my latest wave.

About 15 days ago, I was very close to dying in a car accident. Exhausting holidays, a lonely car trip in the middle of nowhere at dusk and then a surprisingly delicious micro sleep while driving. 2 more seconds and I would have fed the grass. 4 days later I had an appointment at the dentist (my beautiful dentist). She told me I had 2 cavities and a recent filling (18 months old) had to be replaced as well. 2 days ago, my portable hard drive, without notice, died with about 30GB of unsorted music. And this morning, my freezer fan which usually blows the cold in each compartment doesn’t seem to work anymore. It might not be a problem only if I hadn’t filled it 2 days ago.
This afternoon at 2 o’clock, I started my English training, but instead of checking the exercises, I was welcomed with a surprise-test. I think this one is the cherry on the top of the cake.

The question now is to find out if my fridge is still under warranty after 15 months. And I can’t imagine what my dentist could discover when she fixes my teeth. Am I on the top of the wave ?
